I have done a BA Barra conversion into my XG ute. I have kept it as a manual but it won't fire. Since its manual I assumed the B4 wire is to do with auto trans as it runs to the inhibitor switch so I haven't connected it to anything.. I have also kept my old computer as the power for ignition and the engine comes from there, is there a wire in the old loom or is B4 a negative return so i can earth it out? I did have a Haynes manual, much better wiring diagram than what i have found on the other groups..

Cheers in advance.

B4 isnt powerstn its start-en and controls the low side of the starter relay.
you can just ground the low side of the starter relay
have you have pats disabled in the ecu?

Thank so for the reply 66, yes have had the pats disabled, since I'm on the other side of the country I was relying on memory to the label of the wire, I know it's location is B4.. what happens is there is power to coils, injectors and all sensors, the starter engages so turns over but the fuel pump relay does not trigger.. I will try earthing it when I get home Friday.. there was a message on the scan tool that said disabled due to theft but I scanned it again and it didn't come up, the laptop man reloaded the program again to see if it didn't load properly..
