So new to the forum ( although ive lurked on some topics over the years ) so gday for starters

Got myself an 94 NC fairlane the other week , and the previous owner said it had an engine swap and the engine in it was from a " sportsman or something or other " fairlane . I took this as being a 93 fairlane sportsman , backing the claim up is the fact the engine does have a tickford head ( and sounds chunkier than normal falcons with sports exhausts )

My question is , can and will a 94 ED xr6 ecu go into the fairlane as a replacement for stock , because i doubt the ECU was changed with the engine swap , and will that make it the full 161kw xr6 engine .


( yes i had a search on this , and couldnt find anything about falc ECUs into fairlanes )
