atomik studs are now 600 and the are made from tool steel hence the price tag

I have an ARP order due in end of March. They will be ~ $360. Let me know if you'd like to backorder.

They are 8740 Chromoly steel, 200 ksi tensile strength (torque to 80 ft. lbs)

Hey Mate,

quick question - are these some of your ARP head stud kits?

No idea who sells them in plain white boxes..? See attached image of my kit. I supply in brand new (only packed this year!) sealed Genuine ARP packaging and include ARP Ultra-Torque lube, torque spec sheet & ARP decal. These are in stock.

I thought I read earlier, that you were getting head stud sets custom built, to suit our EA-EL OHC sixes?

Isn't that kit just for the Canadian F-truck 6cyl's?

I dunno who makes those kits I posted a pic of.
ARP have told me, they don't make those kits in the USA.

They eventually suggested maybe VPW are making them here locally in OZ,
but it was hard getting even that info.

All I know, is the studs are just a bit short for the OHC engines, and the washers are a bit small.

Notice the part # is PI152-4201 not 152-4201. They make this kit for us only (Precision international = PI) We have a few kits like this for other applications also that are custom "PI" kits.

The studs, nuts & washers are all correct for Australian 4.0L SOHC EA-AU Falcon engines.

Please feel free to clarify anything that might be unclear. (FYI we have sold over 40 sets of these)

FYI- EA-AU head studs from ARP.
Just go to ANY ARP stockist, and ask for a loose stud, p/n AU6.115-1B. This is the correct 12mm ARP 8740 stud. You need 14 of them. They will also need to supply 14 nuts and 14 washers, and some of the ARP lube.
Hope this helps.

I went to the trouble of haveing a kit made up. We have them in stock in our 5 warehouses nation wide.
Please contact me if you’d like to order
