Hi,
I have an AU2 and like to know what base type of LED i.e. T4 / T4.2 etc I need to get to replace the existing standard miniature light bulbs in my dashboard cluster, aircon dials and Auto Trans gear selector. I'd like to change them to Ice Blue colour. Are there any other alterations I need to do or is just a matter of replacing bulbs as is. Cheers, Peter |

@ Papa Smurf,
Thanks for that, I'll check them out soon. Whilst on the topic of lights, I had replaced my instrument cluster / dashboard with another from a wreck, identical model. The odometer lights worked good for about 3 weeks, then noticed one light getting dimmer. Prior to wanting to go LED, I purchased new lights made by Narva, replaced the half burnt light, new bulb failed to light up. I'm at a loss as to why this is so, even after replacing both new lights in odometer. The multimeter tells me the bulb is ok, yet, wont light up in odometer. Maybe the same problem will occur if I replace those lights with lED's. I wonder if I need to send the dashboard away for testing / refurbishment. Any advice? Thanks |

@ Mad2,
I checked the wiring, all seems good. Instruments work as normal, all globes light up, only issue is with the odometer. One light works, the other very dim. I replaced those lights with new Narva lights, and none of the lights worked, removed those lights and replaced with the previous lights and lights came on i.e. one full light, the other very dim. I would not know how to check for circuit problems. |

Mad 2,
They are the aftermarket ones that have replaced the original ford. They can be purchased from Repco, Bursons, Supercheap, autobahn usually have to be ordered in if not in stock. About $3.00 each. Narva bulb Number 47734 12V 1.3W. It is listed as Figure 4 on their bulb catalogue |

It is listed as Figure 4 on their bulb catalogue going by the part number, they list two globe types. one is standard filament globe & other is led. did you make sure it was 47734 not 47734B ? |
