Ok so I picked an xr6turbo up Through a friend at a pretty cheap price, nice tidy, 140000ks 5 speed manual, which I was a little disappointed about but no biggy at that price, he told me the small issues with it when I bought it I was ok with it thinking they might be minor issues. The Gearbox doesn't like going back into 1st when you first put the clutch in after coming to a stop ie coming up to a set of lights then stopping and putting it in first quick like you have to put clutch in wait a few seconds then gently ease it in, so I just assumed it was 1st gear syncro? 2nd issue is the handbrake doesn't fully engage so its on the car still rolls down hill a little bit unless you leave it in gear so I assumed the handbrake cable needs tightening? 3rd problem turning very slowly at car park pace a small clunk from rear drivers side like a bush or something and when you change from 1st to second then you put the clutch in small clunk from same spot as when turning. I just assumed that's all related apart from the syncro
any ideas before I take it to a mechanic would be good
