Ok I have a EL S/Wagon column auto with a bench front seat, what are the do's and don'ts to make it a T-Bar auto with bucket seat's. I have already brought a EL sedan for the parts to make it happen.

if the parts car is auto floor shift, look underneath and you will see what's needed. think the shifter linkage is on drivers side?. so you will want to change column [or at least change column cover & remove shifter linkages so you don't have to swap ignition lock over. not hard to do, just a pain.] = remove floorshift from parts car, remove linkage from shifter to box [in one piece with shifter handle & not sure if the mount holes will be there for the shifter ?], may need to remove brackets that support console as yours may not have it seeing as it's bench [?], may or maynot need to drill mounting holes for inner bucket seat mounts [not sure in the floor will need reinforcement or not ?], will need wiring loom from console as well.

something like that. will need to compare the floors & see what's missing ect ect.

Thanks, I have all the parts I need to do the change over as I have brought a XR6 not only to change inside from "Column Auto to T-Bar" but the front nose cone (XR6), only thing I can see is "floor plan" wise is the inner bucket seat bolt at the rear is different to the bench seat as in the bucket seat one is higher where the bench seat one is lower to take the seat belt. and I do know I have to cut a hole in the floor for the T-Bar. Otherwise everything else will just bolt in.

Ok since I last said something bout changing my EL wagon from "Column to T-Bar, ok after pulling the carpet up and remove counsel etc. I've noticed the hump for the T-Bar is spot welded the floor as is the part for the bucket seat so I can after all change everything over including the hand brake I know there's a bit work drilling all the spot welds and cut a hole in the floor for the T-Bar but its goin to be worth it from bench seat to bucket :-)
