Hey Guys,
Does the later models el - au falcons 4.0lt cams fit my ea 3.9lt falcon ? I don't have the spare money to buy a new cam but thought later model cams may have a high lift and longer duration in the 4.0lt. I have got myself a mpi setup from an el falcon want to see if any cams will fit so that I could do the conversion from cpi to mpi with a better cam and extractors and hopefully down the track convert the 3spd auto to either a 4 spd auto or t5 manual Thanks in advance |

I always heard that out of the stock, non xr cams, the EA was the best...regrinds are cheap though.

As Benno stated, a regrind is the cheapest option (along with a J3 chip). A dyno tune can extract more power out of your engine and iron out any bugs (eg. rough idling, running too rich).
