Hey guys, can anyone tell me more about doing head studs without changing or unsealing the head gasket?
I was initially going to pull the head off to do the studs until I watched a YouTube video of when Cleetus Macfarland came to summernats and was driving with mechanical stig in MCM's barra cresida (before US dragweek and the forged engine) so standard XR6T,so in the vid he says that even the head gasket is the original standard one and they just did one bolt out one stud in and torque and so on till all done.So my question is would you do this in the normal head bolt removal pattern? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Johnny.
