Folks,
Aircon in my ED has started an intermittent fault where the aircon light will come on and off sporadically, along with the fan. It will go from working with the blue light on the switch to losing all power to the fan and the light going out, and then back working again for short periods. I'm thinking a loose connection somewhere. Is there anything else it could be? Standard aircon, not climate control. Very cold when it actually works. |

check ac fuse with a test light for power at both ends and test it still has power when you wriggle ignition key as the switch may be playing up on the accessory circuit.
check fan switch itself . do any fan speeds work when ac light cuts out ? |

SOLVED!!! Well the windscreen wipers failing combined with a bit of googling led to a faulty relay that is located near the handbrake. Switched in a new one and everything works! Hopefully this helps someone else down the track.
cheers. |
