I'm thinking of getting a new cam an valve springs the contenders, on a stock system other than exhaust an intake which of these would be the choice for upgrading mid range power an the best idle quality an idle sound
1) wade 1645 cam 2) xe266hr or xe270hr 3) the TFS 1 4) E303 TFS have valve springs that are direct fit in the beehive shape in the AUs the e-series cars use the linear shaped spring and it should be noted that the AU double springs for upgrading cams an rockers May need machining to fit which can be very expensive Also is it better to buy a valve train kit for a new cam instal or not really needed |

XE270HR-14 or 264 is what you want. The 264 is good for torque. Now you will need to upgrade springs, lifters and pushrods. |

Yer mate i was leaning towards either the TFS1 (cause il need new Valve springs an these are a straight fit)or a xe266hr (cause its an auto 5.0),, itll prob come down to price ...do you think i should get a new timing kit as well or are they pretty much ok to leave it
