Trying to deal with a rough acceleration/idle issue on my ba falcon.
Replaced plugs/coils/gaskets/fuel filter and PCV. Issue only really comes about when the engine is hot and is significantly worse when I turn the AC on. The reason I'm heading towards serpentine is turning the wheel will cause severe vibration up the steering wheel (as part of rwc I replaced lower ball joints and away bar links) however as soon as I apply revs it disappears. Please help, I'm at my wits end and just want it running nicely! Edit: also how loose should the belt be. If I lift it, I can take it off the pulleys. Never dealt with auto tensioners before. |

Deffently shouldnt be able to get the belt off the pulleys without the tensioner loosened, either tensioner is rooted or the belt

The correct way to remove AUII serpentine belt is with a 1/4" drive ratchet- insert into the tensioner pulley.
Apply force to rotate the tensioner assembly & remove belt easily. |

From the og post I'd say that the harmonic balancer is cactus.
