Ok. maybe my brain is broken. In the factory they lift the engine trans assembly on K frame with struts etc into the chassis from the bottom.
Now there are quite a few people around the world who do the same with there jap or euro cars, why cant' we do that with a Fraud? My thought are unhook the top of the front suspension, steering knuckle + power steering lines and tail shaft etc and the other usual disconnects. Make a support for the rear of the trans using a furniture dolly and some shaped wood. Raise the rear of the car on some car ramps for clearance to do all this. Then use the engine hoist to raise the car body off of the K frame assembly. Roll out on front wheels and dolly. How hard would that be? |
