Hi all

My door is completely closed shut neither handles do anything.

I am trying to partially remove the door card with the door closed. Has anyone had to do this? I understand i cant completely remove it. The bottom screw on the door card is giving me problems so ive bought one of these for $6 https://www.trademe.co.nz/building-reno ... 158be2-001. Would appreciate any another suggestions i assume i will end up having to cut the door card.

have removed the rear door card due to child lock on & handle disconnected. but it was on a wagooon.

try removing the inner door handle first. to remove the handle you will need a small flat screwdriver to remove the plastic cover just behind the handle [pull handle & you will see it behind] then a phillips [star] screwdriver to undo the screw [behind the removed cover]. once removed you will then need to unclip the plastic cover the handle is mounted to. to remove pull out at the rear of the plastic cover remembering that the front is clipped into the door. so as you pull out the rear you can then unclip the front [once rear is pulled out far enough]. once the whole piece is out you will then find a cable attached to the door handle. pull on the cable & see if door unlatches.

that will only work on a front door. back door you will have to do a bit more.
