Hi guys!

This isn't a mod (sorry about that; if that's an issue, let me know).

My 98' Falcon EL has a strange knock sound that happens only sometimes, but most of those times it happens when I pull away after stopping (at a roundabout, lights, etc). In the video I've linked here, it happens right after I let off the gas at the roundabout. It's a very obvious knock (sorry about the music; I wasn't expecting the knock to happen).

It also seems potentially to be linked to the weight of the car shifting left (toward the side the sound comes from), almost like there's something loose knocking to the end of the axle or... something.

I dunno! Any thoughts? My mechanic didn't hear the knocking (just because he couldn't reproduce the conditions that led to it; neither can I, it doesn't happen all the time).

Sounds like a tool/s rattling in the boot ?

There was nothing in the boot at the time except the spare tire and the tire iron. But the tire iron has been in there for years and has never made a noise. Still, I'll take it out (put it on the floor in the back or something) and see if the noise continues.
