Hey everyone,
I drive a 2010 Ford Falcon FG. I have an issue with my boot, where pressing the button on the boot lid it does not unlock my boot. It only unlocks 20% of the time after I continuously press the boot button. I have tried to replace the boot latch, but the same issue persists. I've also used dielectric grease and contact cleaner to see if that helps. The boot does have a higher chance of unlocking if i press the boot unlock button on my remote control while pressing it on my boot lid but that only works 50% of the time. Unfortunately, issue still persists, I'm starting to think its a case of the boot garnish button being faulty but I'm wondering if anyone has any input? Cheers! |
