Hi, I'm wanting to get better take-off performance without changing the engine too much for now so am considering changing diff ratio. As said it's a black 2001 AUII XR8 Ute 200kW. Does anyone know what ratio these came out with? It's obviously LSD. What kind of ratio do you think would be good? I don't do a huge amount of long trips, maybe Melbourne and back every month (600km round trip).

have you looked at the drivers side of the diff ? ... should have a sticker there saying what ratio if no one has cleaned it it's about where the exhaust goes over the diff.

Here is the ratios ect for each diff.
Just find the number on the diff as mentioned by Mad2

All E-series/AU XR6 & XR8 are all 3.45:1 ratio from factory.
