Has anyone measured a factory AU for deck height (or deck clearance) and piston dish?

My manual says a deck clearance of 0.0-0.3mm - presumably 0.3mm from the factory and allowing some material for decking the block on rebuild? Or is there actually a 0.3mm manufacturing tolerance?

Also, I have seen both 8.5cc and 10.0cc quoted for the piston dish. Which is correct?

I am putting an EF head on an AU bottom end (which I do not yet have, so I can't measure it). I need to work out how much to shave the head to get 10.0 compression, and these variations in deck height and dish make a big difference.

With my current 62.8cc chamber and AU MLS gasket, I get a compression ratio range of 9.38-9.77 depending on the actual deck height and dish volume. I need a bit more accuracy than that, or I could end up with 9.6 or 10.4 instead of the 10.0 I'm looking for.

Thanks for the help.
