G'day folks,
Does anyone know what size tube spanner is needed to undo the nut fittings on A/C compressor line holding the orange orifice filter on the AU2

I tried using two adjustable spanners...connection is tight and I don't want to damage the fittings.

Thanks.

It's hard to get any response on fordmods at all these days, everyone needs instant gratification e.g Facebook Instagram etc........

Do you have a workshop manual for your model falcon, as this is cheap insurance that will not cost any more than $50 but will definitely be your best friend when needed.

i have a two Ford workshop manuals . One is Gregorys, the other is Ellery's , both say anything much about the tube spanners.

I also searched Youtube as well as google searches, no information regarding. It's like a trade secret.

put shifter back on to nut & firmly do up but not too tight as you will then need to remove it. carefully remove it without adjusting it & measure the gap. that will give you a rough idea of size.

Hello mad2,

I tried using two shifters previouly, not budging, I did not want to burr the nut so gave up on the shifter.

What I need is a flared tool similar to the one that does the bleeder valve on the brakeline.

I'll give it a go what you said about the measurement, I did not thought of doing that.

Cheers
