Hey guys - just wondering if anyone is able to provide instructions on how to enable Police Mode on a high series cluster in my 2007 SY Territory TS?

I've read through the thread, and seen a few people that have done it - but can't actually see how they did it in any posts. I've checked out ForScan and tried using that, but wasn't able to see a setting for Police Mode anywhere ☹

what actual tool are you using for the 'interface' as there are sorta 3 types. 1- basic ELM327, 2- basic ELM327 with switch, 3- OBDLink EX [watchout for knock offs].

At the moment a bluetooth ELM327 adapter. It seems to connect fine, and I can access and modify various other settings in the IC with it.

Hey folks

So since my post reply, I got Police Mode up and running (yay) - but has since failed with the odo of my IC now showing "SC 1" or "SC I".

I haven't had any luck finding what this code is supposed to mean. Has anyone else seeing anything about this?

hi all, been a good number of years since my last login. reading through some of this post about scan tool operations and what info flows through the obd2 port, i have a question. my current ride is an fgx xr8, and i am installing some obd2 gauges. it seems the fords dont have oil pressure or oil temp info available via obd. im guessing the car runs an oil pressure switch instead of a sensor, so the reading would only be an on/off affair, rather than an actual pressure reading. how hard would it be to add an oil pressure reading to the obd system? is it as simple as adding the appropriate sensor and attaching the oil pressure switch wiring to it? would this confuse the computer, or would it simply output a variable result being the oil pressure? unsure if the obd2 system for my car would be programmed to understand only a simple on/off from the oil switch or if it can cope with a variable pressure result?
