My Territory was working fine until I went on Holidays and left it in the driveway for 3 weeks. I drove it down to the shops and got an alarm and message saying "Transmission not in Park" when clearly it was. My wife used it the next day and as well as the above problem she said the cruise control was not working. Later that day I was changing lanes and realised that when I put on my left indicator the dash showed the right indicator was operating! I checked and discovered that regardless of which indicator I used the right hand indicator showed on the dash and on the car.
I have played around with it and discovered that the indicators function correctly when the ignition is ON but the motor is not running but not when the engine is running. I charged the battery overnight (it is 12 months old and appeared to be quite strong) and this morning The "Transmission not in park" didn't appear and the cruise control is working - just the indicators are malfunctioning. Can anyone suggest a solution?
