Hi I have a Ford Fairmont MK 11, its a BA model 2005.
How o you remove clips holding window onto window winder system? I am replacing window winder system RHS, the window has to be down 2/3rd to remove clips holding window on system. There is a video this on YT and it seems you have to have 2 screw drivers going in the opposite direction, seems very tricky and there is one blocked by the door that he did not show how he did that. I am sure the factory had a jig or tool for this but any tips ideas on this? I have opened the clips but nothing pops out.. Not sure what I am doing. |

Thanks - will that is the issue - how do you unclip the glass with those clips? I have the flanges open with screw drivers, but I dont how to move it, its not budging - its also still attached on the one side so its hard to move the glass. I was thinking of putting 5 c coins in between in gaps so cannot close, the one behind metal frame is the issue. Problem is find 5c coins LOL Also are you saying remove weather strips to remove glass while I put in new system? https://youtu.be/NCAvPu-mh4o?t=463 Check this YT - problem is when I open them up nothing pops out and as the other side is still on, the glass does not really move. Frustrating - design - just seen a f150 truck and they had bolts urgghhh - why not BA |
