Hi everyone, I’m having issues with my el’s ac compressor not turning on. I’ve read every possible thread and forum on fordmods and nothings Helped so far. The ac never worked when I got the car and its Currently throwing the code 838, I’ve tried just plugging in a nos sensor but that changed nothing. Also now getting 522 even though it’s got the neutral switch wired in, (it’s a manual swapped auto with manual ecu and auto Loom) I’ve tried bridging the tx valve and used a verified working wac relay. When bridging the wac relay the compressor clicks so that should verify everything from the wac to compressor is working. When pressing the ac button it’s getting the voltage input on ecu and puts Fan on 1 so that ends verified working, I believe I’ve pinned it down to it being the ecu is not sending the ground to the wac relay to switch it on. I forgot which terminal it was (I believe pin 54) but when manually grounding that ac terminal on the ecu it turned the ac compressor on.

Low charge or No A/C gas?

I’ve just had it regassed and it’s Full. Even if it was empty, bridging the tx valve is meant to make it turn on
