Hi guys, new to playing with fords,
Currently fitting leather door trims to my fairlane. Now currently on the old door trim, there is plastic knob (that moves up and down when locking and unlocking) On the new door trims, this is absent, if I remove the plastic push rod (that slides into the knob) will this cause a problem for the central locking? Thank you |

Thank you sounds like you have a later model replacement for your NA?. you can unclip that rod with no problems from your central locking. can also delete the steel rod that goes across & connects to that plastic piece as that's all it's for - from memory. |

Thanks for your response, mine is a fairlane 1995 - NF I believe.
I believe the door trims came out of an nl? Cheers ill give it a shot, any recommendations on how to remove it safely without snapping the plastic stick? {USERNAME} wrote: {USERNAME} wrote: Hi guys, new to playing with fords, Currently fitting leather door trims to my fairlane.
