Guys

Can anyone tell me how many were made and in what colours as my father has recently past away and has given my daughter his XG XR6.The one that was at the last dyno day at Sydney.

I've rung Ford but they could only confirm it is an original but not how many or how many in its colour. So any help I would appreciate.

Darren

In the white pages there is a listing for a Ford Customer Service Centre (or something like that). Give them a call and they might be able to help.

Email "Ford Customer Relationship Team" <customers@fordcrc.com.au>

Send em an email and ask your question. They were very good with my question about how many of each EF/EL were V8's.

Model: XG XR6
Build Dates: October 1993 – February 1996
Engine: 4.0L High Output SOHC MPEFI 6 cylinder
Transmission: Manual T50D 5 speed, Auto BTR 95LE electronic dual mode 4 speed
Colours: Dynamic White, Le Mans Red, Gunmetal, Polynesian Green, Navy Blue
Numbers Manufactured: 1050
Comments:
The first of the XR utes, the XG XR6 was launched together with the ED range and adopted the signature quad headlight front. However this assembly was unique to the ute as it was a 3 piece design with separate grille and headlight surrounds as opposed to the sedan and wagon 1 piece design.

Ploynesian Green was the best colour out of them .... I remember seeing it at the dyno day as well ... very nice example as well.

I had an XG "S" ute in Poly Green ... and it was an awesome colour.

Sorry to hear about your Father ... i know what it is like. Hope you are holding up OK.

Thanks Now to find out how many in Poly Green.

It was a shock loss but all I can say if you know anyone with diabetes warn them that they they don't feel heart attacks as a normal person . My dad was having them over 18 months and thought them to be indigestion and this is common to the sufferes of diabetes. On the dyno day he was having one but didn't know.

Darren

I know what these are like ... have had them before ... I don't have diabetes ... but have a high cholesterol problem ... was warned by my doctor that really bad indigestion pains may not be indigestion ... was told to be wary about this.
