Hi this is probably a beaten track i know
 but my ed xr6 shuts off while driving no dash lights nothing.Ive swapped bcm and smartlock modules to no advantage as its still being a d**k.Has anyone have any ideas where to start looking?.Earths seem good etc any help would be great cheers...

hey matey yea just dies no reds only smart lock light flashing as normal and the clock head lights but no reds.But we have accidently found while lookin and banging things it may be the ignition so fingers crossed thankyou for the reply
Hopefully this thread goes on for a bit just in case its not....excuse spelling gramma etc

Well after some f$cking around my issue was the ignition switch plug a brown one under the steering column a mate helped me find it so wriggled the wires sure enough car shut off.Am cutting the plug out and putting a joining block in and bypass the issue.I hope this helps someone else with the same symptoms
