Hi Everyone,
I've searched the forums a bit and have been reading up up cam upgrades and watched some videos of peoples own experiences. In short I wanted to ask is it really that easy? I'm used to working on bikes but not cars so curious to know how badly things could get for the inexperienced. I was thinking of crow cam stage 2, crow cams double valve springs+ retainers & J3 chip. Comes to about $900. I rang around the sutherland shire and most mechanics quoted $800-1000 to fit the parts I would supply. Does this make sense for what people insist is an easy modification? Also if I dont go down this route does anyone have experience getting a regrind from wade cams + shims? Thanks |
