I want to build an au wagon for high power and want it to be ultra reliable, what should I do?

1st - workout what your starting budget will be.

2nd - workout what motor.

3rd - workout what modifications you want to do to it.

4th - workout what gearbox you want to use ..... then workout if it will handle the engine & you [and budget].

5th - workout what handling you will be wanting [and budget].

6th - workout what rear drive/diff will be needed & what it needs to handle the power/stresses of motor/you [and budget].

7th - workout what wheels your wanting to fit [and budget].

8th - workout if you have enough $$$$$ for the budgets.


having high power & being "ultra reliable" can be at opposite ends of what you want/where you want to go. workout exactly what you want & how you want it, what it will cost etc etc before starting on the wagooon.

Ps. depending on mods to car/engine etc you 'may' need to talk to an engineer.

just do a barra with a ZF swap. have $40k to play with then have resourses to go get more funds when that runs out.
