I have gotten my hands on a 2005 4.0 V6 duel cab courier.
Next step is to get an 03-06 extra cab 4x4 courier (with suicide rear doors) and to do a whole drive train transplant. But I want to know if it's as simple as it sounds or is it one of those different chassis widths, smaller trans tunnel blah blah blah issues? End result is to have the extra cab with rear doors to make access to tools and toys easier, larger tray space to carry 2 quads and to have the V6 engine whilst maintaining the A/C and Ford blood. And I don't want an emotec. I already have one in my 97 extra cab. Plan on getting rid of that if I can make the new one work. Thanks in advance. |
