The issue I am having is with a Focus 2013 LW ST. The buttons on the steering wheel for CC also control the speed limiter function. The speed limiter works fine but CC does not even turn on (an icon appears lit on dash when on). I know the CC on/off button functions because you can use it to turn off the speed limiter.
Services that have been performed lately are a throttle body clean the next day a wash and Karcher, only to the outer body of the car then a damp cloth was run over the steering wheel, horn/air bag cover and the instrument display .
The throttle body unit was fully removed from the car, cleaned only with a rag dampened with solvent. The butterfly was opened and was wiped clean as well as the throat. When reinstalled the ecu's learnt data was erased and re learnt. The car was fine after this procedure and the CC still worked.
Just a little more info:
Brake lights are on when pedal pressed and off when released.
And the car will not start until the clutch pedal is pressed.
So I guess the brake and clutch switch work.

Any help to further troubleshoot and diagnose this issue would be greatly appreciated.
