the old AU Falcon war horse needs new shocks all the way around, the standard OEM shocks have lasted 250k (impressive) and i am planning on keeping the car for another 250k, has anyone had any experience with either Monroe or KYB?, how's their longevity? or should i just pay the money and go full Bilstein? not planning on racing but this is called on to be a road trip king quiet often - it see's a lot of highway K's!

Both are generally well-regarded brands for replacement shocks, offering good value for money and decent performance. They're a solid choice for daily driving and highway cruising, especially if you prioritize comfort over sporty handling.

Cheers mate, we have a new contender though, I'm thinking of getting Gabriel shocks
