Thanks for taking the time to read my post.
I have 1 EF Wagon, and a spares wagon for it, My Business operates 2x BF MkIII Wagons for work cars (Ex Taxi's) Great Vehicles but the High Km BF at 430,XXX Km has a groan in the diff, I have drained the diff oil twice and gone to the thicker LSD oil and it is still Pretty bad and nearly looks gun metal grey/greenish due to the metal in the oil. If I can Get it to 450-470 Thousand Km's I'd be impressed. My Question is I believe they are the same diffs EF/BF except for Handbrake mounts, ABS Gear and the EF is a 4 pinion, Where the BF is a 2 Pinion. Does anyone know if I can take the EF Diff Centre as a complete Unit and fit it to the BF Diff Housing ? I really don't want to pay $700 for another near clapped out diff. |
