Hi,there is a lot of stuff on here which is a bit confusing for me (easily done!)Where is the best place for all the info required to fit a 5.0 from an EF (was auto) to an XH (was factory 6 cylinder manual)I have the complete donor car.

the hardest part of the swap will be the wiring . it's not a plug n play setup , the XH is unique to itself , no other wiring loom will fit . other than that you will need a new fuel line ( the steel one) , different to sedan models everything else is the same .

no ,too different to fit the EF dash loom into the XH . but if you feel confident and good on the tools you can swap the whole EF dash into the XH ,need a little work to fit and need to "frankenstin" the heaterbox to suit ( 2 into 1 deal) then just need to work the handbrake out ,has been done before .... is you ute a Tbar or colunm shift ?
there is a topic build on this site about fitting EF-L dash into XH ,can't remember who done it .
