Hi, my ba falcon a/c fan had been working intermittently, now completely stopped. Also wipers have stopped working. Have swapped relays around and checked fuses to no avail. When I checked the voltage to a/c fan it read 6.1v and doesn’t change when fan control it changed????

I pulled them out and used a multimeter to check for continuity.

do you have any issues with the ICC other than what you have mentioned?.
wipers - check out the stalk - may/may not be a broken wire or two in there. there is a cover at the back that unclips. don't break it. or the connector under the column 'maybe' loose. |

I think you should check out the wipers stalk.

Since you’ve swapped relays and checked fuses, that rules out some basics. The constant 6.1V at the fan suggests a possible grounding issue or a bad connection, as a poor ground can affect both systems. A faulty fan speed resistor or control module could also cause the fan not to respond when you adjust controls. Given that both the fan and wipers are out, check the battery terminals and main ground points for any corrosion or loose connections, as this could impact multiple circuits. Hopefully, that helps steer you in the right direction—good luck! |
