hey guys i own an xf with ed xr6 engine gearbox and diff its a nice drive and i would like to freshen up my interior to match. can someone tell me
can u bolt on e-series interior parts or even au interior thanks |

none of the later interiors are a straight up fit..... a lot of work involved in fitting them..... only part that changes over easily is the console

I have an AU console in my XH which has slightly improved the look over the standard one, and now i got cup holders
Other than that you could always put an XH instrument cluster in which is like the EL ones and the XH surround which just gives you nicer switches for you lights.

i thought the XH cluster talked to the computer in the same way as EF-EL clusters?

woops yeah your probobly right, i have an XH so it has the EF computer

Im not sure about fitting it to an EB but the thing just slid straight under my dash and the holes all lined up which was good. I originally tried a EL one but because there sort of intergrated into the dash i had to hack it apart and it ended up looking like dogs balls

nah sorry i dont have a digital camera........just go for it. Go down to your local wreckers and get the crappiest au centre console out of an X taxi. throw it in and see what you think of it then get a decent one. That way it wont cost you as much. If i can get my hands on a camera this week ill throw some up though
