i think you might have become a bit spoilt 66 coupe.. the XT doesnt handle that badly for what is a base model car... compare how a base XT handles straight out of the dealer to what an early 90's falc felt like.. ford have come a LONG way with susp developement

I'm glad somebody said it. I thought the XT handled very well when I drove one. When I get mine I don't think I'll even touch the suspension..

ah well, were all entitled to our opinions, but there is a big difference in handling between a std XT and one that has been lowered, and same between the std XT and the XR6. I felt that the std XT was somewhat too soft and had a lot of body roll, which was more pronounced at higher speeds around bends etc.

heres a guy that i knows ba. Its had 2.5inch drop in the front and 4 in the rear. It is also rolling on 20s. So it is possible to drop them fairly severly.

Nice looking car, except the back looks fkn stupid to me LOL...
One opinion, but id rather have it even, or inch MAX lower on one end to sive different looks.. Wheres his rim gone?! Reminds me of my front end when i lowered, before i raised it, HAHA!
