bastard EF seats! - fixed!

I fixed it in my old EF by getting a couple of washers (one for each side that'd torn out) and a hex bolt with a bigger head and bolted it back up, had no problems and the new owner hasn't either.

Where did you place the washers?

40mins later, and my seat is fixed! :P

arc-welded the bastard - 2 of the bolts on the underside had snapped off, so we angled them back into place, and welded around the plates - so all done! :)

anyone else in perth who is interested - assuming its the same thing w/ the 4 base plates (will get photos tonite if i can to show) - he is prepared to fix up others as well, for a small fee :wink:

well, he works during the day - so monday to friday, 9am-5pm pretty much! :P
