go to All Tourque
Tell them "Johno with the green xr sent ya" Porting for a more agressive cam is a good idea, also dont forget hevier valvesprings. The only problem with porting is the ecu, if you go too far with the flow rate the ecu will struggle to compensate. I do konw that JMM use porting to lean out their fuel mixtures. I also found when upping the comression the ecu runs alot richer! I think it must set of the knock senser and it all goes down hill from there. So i think if your planning on going fairly wild with the head, look into some kinda chip/ecu to make the most of it. I think you you should get the head played with, and then once you know the compression/flow, ring up a cam place and get yourself a custom grind. I made close to an extra 20rwhp form going from a stg 3 crow to a custom grind. You may not get gains like that without a aftermarket ecu, but the cam grinders know whats best when they know what the rest of the motor is like.
