i am in the process of doing my audio install and i am having some trouble with the front speakers. Am i right in assuming that you can only fit 4" speakers in the standard location without having to make up pods that fit in the map pocket area.I cant see how bigger speakers could fit without being in the way of the window winder (its a GL) i have pairs of 5", 6.5" and some pioneer 7x5" out of the front doors of a BA falcon and i would prefer to use the 6.5" or 7x5" speakers as the 5" are s**t. I am not worried about cutting the speaker hole out but i dont want to cut the doors skins. What size speakers have people fitted in the standard location?

what model falcon do you have?

im guessing EA oe EB series1

sorry bout that i have a 30th aniversary EA falcon GL

EB 2 onwards got 6" speakers in the door ,so you will have to make pods or get Eb2 onward doors.or stick with the 4" speakers
