Anyone in SA know a definate place to get this stuff? Supercheap and Repco have proved to be fruitless...
Anyone who has seen my car would know the passenger side headlight really lets the team down! lol

Believe it has been discontinued mate, might have to try New Zealand or USA for it.

I purchased some the other day from Auto Pro. Although this shop is nothing like your normal Auto Pro, that's the name they use. I was speaking to the guys behind the counter and they knew exactly what I was talking about, and we chatted for a while about it. It's made in USA if that helps. I bought it in a little town called Goulburn NSW, and if I can buy it here, I'd be very surprised if you can't get it in Adelaide.

Have never looked for it, I don't go to auto parts stores as all the stuff I use and car servicing stuff I get from elsewhere.
Somebody must have it.

It is a US product. And as much as you would like to fras, you cant send an aerosol through the post.... Check out http://www.mulford.com.au/content/locations.htm. This is Mulford Plastics. They are one of the only distributors in Australia. If they dont have it then alas it has probably been discontinued. I dont think it has though because the online US plexus order site is still operational...

Aurora - have you had much experience freshening up the EF/EL headlights? I managed to get the yellow tinge out with wet/dry but need something to bring a smooth finish back (and hopefully offer some protection). I'm very hesitant to just go and 'try' anything and everything on there... formally working in lens production I know that polycarbonates dont get along well with a LOT of substances.

If Plexus can't be found ( although I strongly recommend it as it is so damn good) liquid car wax can be substituted. I have used kitten liquid wax on mine without issues. Essentially after stripping the yellow off with sandpaper you want to seal the imperfections across the lens, enabling a protective seal and smoother finish. This will also prolong this happening again as the is less direct contact with cooling elements: rain. Liquid polish/wax does this for paint, and if applied in small amounts can also be effective on the lens. But again try this at your own risk. i suggest if you are unsure with using the liquid polish/wax try a small amount first.

I think you are thinking of plexi-glass, the plastic alternative to glass.
