hey guys. i still do not understand this 4 ohm and 2 ohm stuff. my speakers are 4 ohm and my amplifier put out 35 watt rms at 4 ohm and 50 watt rms at 2 ohm. now becuase i am running speakers will it only put out 35wattrms.
could some explain how the ohm theory of amps |

its basically the load on the amp, the lower the ohmage the more load but louder the sound, just remember 1 ohm is almost a dead short. why car sound can go down to 2 ohms is because of the amount of amps the battery can put out as opposed to home hi-fi, the transformer and bridge rectifier would be the size of a slab of beer!!
