Does anyone have any ideas on how to get good bass out of a car with a gas tank in the boot?

Come on man, there's heaps of guys that have already done it in EF's etc. I can't see an XE being any different?

the tank doesn't matter one bit. I'm sure there are a few people who agree after being in my car.
I argue that the lower volume of the boot infact helps

ditch the petrol tank and relocate the gas tank
to the new vacant space. or sell both tanks and get a purpose built gas tank for the space were the petrol tank was!! |

mate i got two 15in pioneers in my boot of my AU with a gas tank, got some realy good bass but no room, will post picture in the morning

I agree with waggin actually, use it to your advantage. Ive seen fuzions boot, he had a gas tank, and two 10"subs. Went pretty hard.

Yeah check out my Gallery i got a great big bloodly gas tank with a sub sitting infront of it and ive got pleanty of bass!

Yeah so do i, i have an 80lt tank in the back of my ef sedan and i still get tones of bass probadly to much but yeah. Id say i could live without gas at the moment look at the prices of petrol mate... they are saying they are going to be hitting $1.20 a lt down here in melbourne.
