Hello everyone,
It's my first post here, so hello. I'm the new proud owner of an EF Gli falcon.
I'm having a small problem with the doors, they lightly scrape the front guards when you open or close the front doors. I've had a look at both doors and front guards and the spacing seems to be consistent, so I'm not sure where the problem is. The guards look like they are in the right position at the front, so I was thinking that I might have to loosen the hinges and move the doors back a touch.
Is this a common problem, or has my car had a bit of "work" done to the front with a pole or such? Any ideas on a fix?
Thanks people.

I'd say something has moved backwards, you can undo (loosen) the mounting bolts and reseat it so it closes properly...

Yep, sounds like either the front quarter panels or front doors are out of alinement..
Take it to a few panel beaters n ask if they can fix it; its a thing you could do yourself, if its not too bad - but this way you dont have to worry about it and they dont all charge all the time, depends if your a regular hahah!
I had my front doors reset as they sagged a little, nothing huge but enough to annoy me; they had amachine that bolted onto the door, took no time/money, perfect!

How much would one expect to pay for that procedure though? My two front doors sag something chronic! And my rear left one too sometimes.

Ask a few places, its very very common.

Crisis averted,
It turns out my doors were out further than the front guards a small amount. We opened the doors and pulled on the guard a bit and now it's fine. Looks like it's had a bit of a bingle in the front and back in the past.
Thanks everyone for the replies! I didn't expect to get answers so soon.
