Hi guys,
I just bought some 6" by 9" speakers for the back of my eb series 2 and i had them put into speaker boxes and ive got them sitting on where the stock speakers should be on the shelf behind the back seat and my mum said she thinks that it is illegal to have them there but i can see out of the back perfectly and i thought well when people are in the back they are more in view than the speaker boxes so any info would be helpful. Thanks eb2lover |

Make sure theyre secured properly at least. DOnt want them flying into your head if ya flip your car or something

andrewJ is right, the main problem isnt visability, but the potential for the boxes to become missiles in an accident.....hitting something at speed will turn that speaker box behind you into a neat guillotine that WILL remove your head rather cleanly

ya watch out, ya can now cop a canary for choppn at the parcel shelf cos RTA says the vehicle structure is unsound and a danger in the event of rear collisions or some crap. But a set of 6x9 should be sweet if done properly but dont go nuts
