the snorkel is liek 40 bucks, just helps car breathe better.... some notice an increase in throttle response.

and yes, the square k&n filter

ive heard that the BMC airfilters are the best these days. got one in my car the part number is 166/01 it cost me about $120 with the stuff to clean it. you can go to www.bmcairfilters.com and for the XH snokel get a newy from fords, dont know the part number. think it costs $30.

Nah its not like a 4wd snorkle for water crossings or any thing it just replaces the standard snorkle because it flows better

hmmm just a quick question...fitting the XH snorkle at the moment and looked over the tech doco...but the fan shroud seems to be in the way not covered in the thingo...do i have to chop it or take it out cauz that dont sound legal  haha ????

i just cut the bracket on the fan shroud off with a hack saw and cleaned it up with a file. its perfectly legal, cops wont even notice a difference. also i didnt screw the new snorkel to the fan shroud as mine sits there fine and doesnt move, however some have to srew theres in, if you do this BE CAREFUL and only use short shank screws, remember your radiator is about 2cms under that.
