My thoughts exactly!
Get a piece of metal made up for it, make it pretty, take it in to hae what you want written on there, not that hard a job for the right person.

You mean like the one below????

I might be persuaded to part with mine as you can see its been sitting down the sideway for the last few yrs, it seems everytime I put the thing on I have to rip it off to get to something on the donk so I gave up putting it back on..

pm me if your interested, I'm not after much if it's going to a good home   but postage will probably be the biggest expense. (i'm in Melb).

no sorry mate. its not the engine cover itself, it a plaque type thing that would be where the ugly bit is atop the intake manifold. where the top of that engine cover screws into with 4 screws. It was on AU series. EF/EL's had that cover over it.

When are you going to get a new intake, and maybe some heads?

I dunno, im just so familiar with the syndrome of the chain of events when upgrading the windsor... new manifold = restriction at heads... new heads = prob need to upgrade to vortech or powerdyne XB series = new injectors = aftermarket ECU...

hmmm.. whilst all that stuff is off, would be stupid not to do a cam... so will make sure the new pushrods and valvetrain are well suited. Might as well freshen up the bottom end as well and get her ready for some real boost...

Oh right... and that's all well beyond my ability so should really pay for all the work to be done...

Exhaust for this lot?

Better get an LSD for all that.... upgrade the trans as well...

Hmmm, we're well above $15,000 now, yeah?
