With all this heavy rain, I've noticed that theres water coming down thru the dash on my AU and running all over my feet while im driving..

After a few hrs theres a decent little puddle on my floor, bit worried about all the electrics its running thru.

Any ideas where to start looking?

Well that's no good. With all these threads on water getting through to cabins in all this heavy rain I decided to check the EF when it was really raining hard yesterday. Twas perfect, no leaks at all, and it's been sitting in the rain for days now, mind you I didn't get a chance to check the spare wheel well.

Had the same issue with an AU sedan before. Turned out to be the rear windscreen.

Took to Ford the first time and they just filled it up with expanding foam, after this didnt work we demanded the rear windscreen be re-set and problem solved.

The air is on fresh, not recirculate, I'll test that and see if it makes a diff.

Another thing, It's a lot worse when the nose of the car is parked up hill or driving up a hill or accelerating.

It is a manual, but the water appears to be coming from the top of the dash, running down thru it, then dripping onto the pedals and floor.

Have to pull her apart a little and do some troubleshooting.

not sure bout the falcon but we had this problem with my dads rodeo and it ended up being the sealing gromet thingo underneath one of the screws that holds on that bit that holds the windscreen wipers, turns out holden don't have them in WA anymore n would have to order it in so just put some selley's in there and there's no more leak!

My EF has a leak in the front on the passenger side, did a bit of trouble shooting with a mate, and it is coming in somewhere from the grill at the top of the bonnet (the cowl??) and dripping onto the edge of the carpet and soaking through.

I have no idea where to start, i cant SEE anywhere it can be coming in...

Anyone with ideas?

Check around the top of the windscreen. fairly common place for rust. My ea has rusted there and a small amount of water leaks through and rus down the inside on the pillar.

Pulled off the plastic cover thats just below the winscreen for the air vent intake, no luck at all. Just a welded in metal plate.

Im going to have to come up from the inside of the dash I think.
