I got mine out now and from what I was told is that its there so when you slide the cluster back in it wont scratch your dash.

I took my felt off as I had to replace the hole front due to me braking it. It hasnt had any problems with it off.

I can say im sick of taking out my cluster and hope the maddness can end today.

Wait its worse i just dropped my cluster now its not working

If I do the led conversion I will probably fry the cluster.

If I can upgrade and then pay vdo to change the km's I will never touch my cluster again.

The white dash of ebay sucked the plastic was too thin and when you indicate it lights up other sections.

I tried gluing it down like he suggest and several other methods but in the end the dash was just not good enough. I was going to live with it but... it wasn't going to live with me so it decided to make a run for it and hit the floor.

And the money I was saving was mag money
