I have a problem with my AU 5lt ute as soon as the engine is started the thermo's come on and stay on regardless of engine temp.(This problem has just started)
has anyone had this problem or know what the story is??

ps the temp switch is working fine ( tested resistance)

damaged or sticky themo relays? have you tested them?

Yes I tested the relays and they are switching fine. The only thing left is the ecu?

try turning off your AC?

Aircon off or on the fans don't turn off while the engine is running.
I have tried resetting the ecu to no avail

Fixed the problem! It was the wrong map loaded into the ECU It had a series 1 TE50(200kw) map and the ford dealer loaded a series 2 xr8(200kw) map. As soon as the TE50 map was loaded the fans worked fine :lol:
