hey folks,
just recently took my double din Head unit out and put my single din in but i am having trouble making a braket to hold it into place. I already got a spacer just need a braket, the head unit did not vome with one. i have asked around and no one has one,

is there like a universal braket around, any help would be great :)

I am assuming you are talking about a "cradle" to put the head unit in. My pioneer deck came with a universal cradle, and was as useless as titties on a bullock. So i spent 5 bucks, and one night in the school shop rooms making my own, mdeling them from the standrad brackets.

Easy!!

PS. just used 1mm or 1.5mm or something aluminium and it has worked perfectly

how would i make it fit in the au, they dont have any screw holes to mount it, (not from what i can see

On the EF, the standard radio has a little bracket bolted onto each side. The slide in on almost like rails into the spot. They have a tab which bends out accross the front, and that screws down to hold the unit in...

I realise i hae probably confused you, bnut in breif:

EF HU slides in on rails, replicate the bracket to slide on the rails, easy.

I am not sure how an AU hu goes in, as i havent had one to look at...
