I think EB ones are longer but give it a go. Or make your own plastic ones.

heyo,

We make and install white dials to EA-Ed, EF-EL clsuters. The EF's have a clear piece of plastic the directs light into the needle to light it up. The EA-D's do not. So they probably wont light up as the mechanisums will obstruct most of the light at the center of the dial in the EA-D cluster. Also, the EF needles are 8mm shorter then the EA, so it may look a bit funny.

On the up side though, most needles have more or less the same diameter hole for teh metal pin that comes out of the guage movement, so u just need to find another cluster with aprox the right length needles and they should just swap over. Be careful of the shorter needles (like on the fuel, temp etc) most cheap skate car manufactures (like Holden) like to cut corners and use bi-metal strips to move the needles, which have a plastic shaft which are much thicker then the metal pins of the proper movements that Ford use in the Falcon clusters.

hope this helps
Rene.
